Is Hillary Clinton just one long-running SNL skit?
News November 21st, 2007So I heard Hillary Clinton on the utterly-useless “POTUS ’08″ channel on XM radio the other day, and I thought, “surely, this is a joke.” She talked in the most monotone voice, saying the must mundane and routine political things. It didn’t even seem real, it seemed as is she was mocking herself. It was exactly like an SNL skit where they make her this boring, political-slogan machine. She said nothing of value. It seemed as if the SNL writers had wrote her speech like they would to mock her on their weekly show. It wasn’t until the commentator chimed in that I realized this was fucking for real.
I’m not going to delve into politics here on this blog, but I just thought it was incredible. She’s our democratic front runner? Have you see the fucking republicans? Mitt Romney? Ron Paul gaining support?! And Rudy Guiliani as “the man to beat?”
We’re fucking DOOMED.
